Want to shift those festive pounds? I’m trying the Slim.Fast Challenge

Me before – happy but happier to lose 5lbs

I’ve been set a new challenge…
You’ve quaffed the champers, munched on the turkey and over-indulged on chocolates and whereas it was utterly brilliant at the time, the Christmas belly you’ve been left with isn’t so great.  Sound familiar?
Well I’m not one for diets usually and I’ve never counted a calorie in my life but I wanted a quick fix that was going to shake off those extra few festive inches fast and then be easy to maintain thereafter.
Festive over-indulgence didn’t help but I’m also still carrying that final stubborn 5lbs from pregnancy and since becoming a mum, I find myself finishing my sons meals, snacking when he does and treating myself far too often!
I was therefore looking for a diet that could fit around my busy lifestyle but not leave me gagging for more food, offer me flexibility and enjoyment and not be so restricting that I’d give up through hunger after a few days.   Plus with a holiday in January, I WANT TO LOOK HOT IN A BIKINI!
Enter the Slim.Fast 3-2-1 Diet Plan.  Working in collaboration with them, I’ll be sharing my experience over the next two weeks complete with video diaries.

The Skinny: How it Works

The Slim.Fast 3-2-1 Plan, in short, includes each day:
  • 3 snacks of under 100 calories each,
  • 2 meal replacement products (bars or shakes) and
  • 1x 600 calorie-balanced meal
You can therefore eat up to 6 times a day taking in 1200-1400 calories.
You can stick to it rigidly for speedier weight loss, do it during the week with a more relaxed weekend for gradual weight loss and maintain the weight loss by replacing one meal as opposed to two each day.
The meal replacement bars are nutrient dense, fortified foods designed to replace a conventional meal safely and with prices starting at RRP 56p for snacks, it’s affordable too.
So if you want to shift some pounds and fast, stay tuned.
