Maternity Fitness Wear Ideas
Posted August 29, 2017 by Bethanie Lunn
As part of my maternity fashion video series with Secret Saviours, the award-winning stretch mark prevention system for pregnant women, my fourth video focuses on what to wear to workout in while you’re pregnant, an occasion that is tough to dress for and tough to action!..but so important to get right.
The correct support for your body has never been more important than now. In this video, we look at fabrics and styles to help you keep fit safely, healthily and stylishly.
Sometimes I definitely did NOT feel like doing exercise when I was pregnant – both times! However, exercise during pregnancy will help you through all sorts of pregnancy niggles such as backache, varicose veins, heartburn and tiredness but what do you wear?
It’s really important to get the right support so choose a maternity fitness brand like FittaMamma that supports your body comfortably and securely. This label is chic too, so I used to wear the exercise trousers with a cute sweater or tee and the support vest was so comfortable and flattering on my bust, I’d wear it with jeans and a cardigan for a sport luxe look.
I used to wear my anti-stretch mark band under the yoga pants for the ultimate treat – not just to do yoga but I have to admit – to lounge about in, in ultimate comfort too…especially in the final trimester!
Team your pants with a cosy yet cool sweater like this slogan Mother sweat for total comfort.
This is one of five maternity style videos, and you can watch the first one on what to wear at weddings >here< Keep checking back for the next one as I’m releasing a new video every Monday and Thursday at 2pm.
